Zoo
Potawatami Zoo officially opened for business today. We are so excited to go today (Jacob was way too young to enjoy it last year at only 3-5 months) but this weather is keeping us in! They have a new butterfly exhibit and a new little cub(I forgot the species, but it's in the cat family). We can't wait to visit!
Leopard
Pearl (the mama cat)is a leopard, my son's preschool did a project for her in the fall. When I dropped him off this morning the teachers were telling all the kids how Pearl had her baby so they were excited!

Being new to the area I am really excited to have a zoo so close to us. I can't wait to go to the zoo with my daughter and see how she likes all the animals. We took her this past summer, but she was only like 3 months old, if that.

I'm excited and I want it to get warmer so we can go. I hope Bekka is more interested this year! I was the "kid" last year I couldn't wait to go. We're gonna extend our trip to Riley's in July and make alittle vacation out of it and I want to take her to the Indy zoo. The have over 350 species there. They have an awesome dolphin dome. You go underneath the dolphin pool into a dome area and they swim over you! Ok, I'm being the "kid" again but I think it's so cool. lol
