Your favorite jeans
My 2 favorite pair of jeans (one I've had since high school) finally wore a hole in the knee, and they are so old they don't even make them anymore. So I've been on the hunt for new pants. My mom and I went shopping last week, and we almost came home in tears! I want to know who on earth designs jeans these days???? I can't imagine there are many women out there that have super skinny knees, thighs, butts, but have gigantic waist! They are all so tights in the butt and thigh, but my rear hangs out when I bend over! I'm at a loss...I think I've tried on every style of pants out there! I don't want really low rise, but no high waist either...just a basic jean with a medium waist.
What is your favorite brand of jeans?

Jeans
My favorite are Levi's 550 Classic Relaxed Boot Cut. I've bought them at Kohls and I think I bought my last pair at Macy's. I have two pair of some expensive brands that a friend of mine gave me but I don't like how they fit. I've always loved my Levi's.
Good luck finding some, Jessica!

Lei
I like the brand Lei. I bought my last two pairs at JCPenney. They are made a semi-stretchy material, which I didn't think I would like at first; however, I found that it helps if you have bigger waist (as we all do after having kids). Also, they stay put very well and are comfortable. Target's Mossimo (not sure if that is spelled right) also have some decent jeans especially if you wear a women's size. Hope this helps!

Jeans
I am down to one pair of jeans that fit me and that I love. I bought them at Kohls just a few months ago and I've looked online and everytime I go out of town I go to a Kohls to see if I can find them but I've had no luck. They are apt 9 and they are super soft but they are wearing out in the butt and I can tell the end of their life is coming up shortly :( I also had a pair of maternity gap capris I bought last year at the Gap outlet in Michigan City and I looooved them (even though I'm not pregnant but they were so comfortable!) but they dont fit me anymore. That is my main goal of our new weight loss to be able to fit into those again. I am in the same boat as you though, I went today to try to find a pair of jeans or capris and I had no luck. I dont like my jeans "hard or stiff" so I am always feeling them if they are soft but either the waist is too low or they are too long (I'm only 5'2) or they fit in the waist but the legs are huge. It sucks!!! :(
Lucky Dungarees
I have the answer I'll tell you after I get off the floor from laughing. I just ended this 3yr search with success. In February I went into the Buckle as a last resort. Some woman in Macy's said that store carries lots of styles of jean. I knew sweatpant were in my very near future! I walked in crying and said to the clerk that was probably twelve with scary hair and a GIANT belt buckle:
"I have 3 children, a very big ass, flabby thighs and I'm not leaving until I've tried on every pair of jeans in here!" He put me in a dressing room and after he shut the door, he asked what my size usually is? I said very large apple, after he chuckled he said, 12? and I responded yes probably.
Now along with my round heiny, I'm extra tall in the inseam. He brought 11 pair and the Lucky brand-Rockette Rider was the winner. With, the BKE (buckle brand) as the runner up. They both have various lengths and shades. I'm having a love affair with mine right this minute!
So, my tail (hee hee) ends with this, it may get really ugly along the way but there is hope at the end of the journey. Lynn
jeans
I am so picky when it comes to my jeans, so I can relate to your dilemma. I have good luck with St. John's Bay Stretch Boot fit from JCPenney. The stretch gives a little where you need it, but isn't soooo tight that you can't get them on, let alone move in them. The waist fits me comfortably, not too high, and not so low that my BC shows when I bend over. They also are resonably priced when on sale...19.99.
Good luck!
Jeans
I have two pairs that I love that unfortunately don't fit me anymore. If you don't mind spending a little more money on them, they're worth it. If you can find them at an outlet store you will save some money. One pair is Gap Long and Lean. I'm a size 14/16 and they fit really well. They have a little more room in the butt/hips. The other pair is Eddie Bauer. I have the Classic cut jeans, but they have a cut called "Curvy" or something like that. They are made for us women who may have a smaller waist that but or hips. I have a pair of pants in that cut and they're SUPER comfortable. I hope that helps you. Good Luck!
TORRID- THE BEST JEANS!
After my long and dreadful search for stylish jeans, that my butt crack and muffin top wouldn't hang out of... I stumbled upon a store called Torrid in the Glenbrook Mall in Fort Wayne back in January. I told the sales gal my problem and she laughed then brought me a pair of jeans- I looked at the pirce $58.00!! I tried them on and they were so worth it!!! The shape, location and design on the butt pockets made my a#$ look so much SMALLER! I was in LOVE and bought them! I have bought one more pair since then and am thrilled with them. They are a relaly nice feeling denim, a little distressed looking but they are my #1 after all these years, 2 kids and a whole lot of weight gain! LOL Torrid is a plus size store that starts at size 12. They have TRENDY clothes for bigger figures, which I thought was great! I hate the old lady looking plus size clothes that are out there!
I am pretty frugal when it comes to shopping usually so these jeans were a HUGE splurge for me. But I was tired of looking everywhere for jeans to fit my curvy mommy body. SUCCESS AT LAST!
cute plus size clothing
I know of a site (kikisfashionsplus.com) that has really cute, trendy, and affordable plus size clothing! Their jeans start at $27.99 and are very comfortable!!! They also have really cute tops:)
