Wisdom Teeth
I had all 4 wisdom teeth out last Friday. The top two they just pulled but the bottom two they had to cut out. I am still in pain on the left side. I am doing everything the doctor told me to do with rinsing and taking my meds. Its not horrible pain but its enough I need to take Ibuprofen. I dont think its an infection or anything because I am still on an antibotic but just wondering how other people felt after they had there wisdom teeth out.
Oh, the memories...
I had 3 of mine pulled while on X-mas break during college and felt similar to what you described. I do remember being pretty swollen and resembling a chipmunk with a mouth full of nuts :) I was in pain for while and had to take advil, too, but I don't recall it being more than a week or two. I do remember my oral surgeon telling me to call if the pain got worse, a fever erupted, or if a strange funk began to emit from my mouth. Luckily, nothing ever did.
