Where could the yogurt have gone?
Have you ever lost something and wondered where it went??? I bought yogurt and a few other random items at Target last night, and I'm almost sure I saw them in the bags that I brought in and put on the floor. 5 minutes after I got home, I went to put it away and noticed they weren't there, and I said to my husband "oh, you already put the yogurt away." He didn't say anything. So later he asked me what I did with the yogurt. I didn't put it away, neither did he, and I'm sure I brought it home, but where could it have gone???
A few months ago we lost the remote to our tv, and it still hasn't turned up! When I was a kid, some carrots disappeared out of the refrigerator, and we still laugh about it today. When we misplace something we say it must be with the carrots. It was just me and my parents, and none of us will take responsibility for the disappearance of the carrots, but how do they just disappear like that?
Where is the wierdest place something missing has turned up? Have you ever lost something silly that you never did find? Any thoughts on where our yogurt went? (not that it matters now! :)

The remote
Our remote has been missing for about 5 or 6 weeks now and we cleaned everything up really well to see if it would turn up. It never did, so my husband finally spent $35 to buy a new one off of ebay. We tried the cheap universal ones and they didn't work. I always thought if it went missing it would have been before my kids could talk and wouldn't be able to tell me they threw it away or something like that, but we have no idea what could have happened to it!
I work for Martin's and you
I work for Martin's and you would not believe how many items are left behind and the customer never calls to say they didnt get it. Is it possible they never made it in your car? It really happens alot!!!!
possible
But I'm 99% sure I saw it in the bag when I sat it down on the floor. It caught my eye because the foil lids are silver now, instead of red. I'm almost sure I saw them when I put my bags in the car too. Oh well, I suppose I could ask next time I'm there.

milk...
well, I've poured some milk and then put the gallon of milk in a cupboard! crazy, I know! That was when life was REALLY stressful (obviously, huh?! :))
rearranging
I leave something on the top of the refrigerator often. It seems I have to rearrange the freezer everytime I buy anything. Sometimes its not until the next day that I find it. The remote is always past the arm and bottom cushions of the sofa. Ours has a tear in the liner so everything falls completely to the bottom liner. Then we tip the sofa on one end squeeze a hand in and grab the things that pool there. The broken pretzels are the worst!
Missing
Same things have happened to us. We went to the store and bought 2 different juices and they both were in the car and both were brought in but yet we could only find one. We never did find that other one. Same thing with sippy cups it's like the ones with milk are the only ones that every get lost and when you do find it its because the smell lead you there then you have to throw it away because you don't dare to open it. Oh and socks, The washer must really love socks because it eats them like crazy. But yeah there always seems to be something that comes up missing
phone
We actually lost one of our cordless phones about a year ago. We have no idea what happened to it and have searched the entire house several times. We think that we might have left it outside last summer and it somehow disappeared.
phone
When I was pregnant with Shawn, I was a complete scatter-brain. I searched for half a day before I found the phone in the refrigerator.
And pacifiers, we misplace them like crazy. There are always a couple in my purse, and I can usually find one in my husbands pockets.
My husband is one to leave things in very random places. We are always on the hunt for his wallet, keys, cell phone and watch. A few days ago he lost his shoes, and found them in the tv cabinet in our room.
I also am missing my debit card. That one is a head-scratcher, I can't find it anywhere. I remember the last time I had it was in the house, so I'm sure it's around here somewhere.

lost chicken
I once lost a pack of chicken breasts. I came home from grocery shopping and unloaded the truck to realize I was missing the chicken breasts that I wanted to use for dinner that night. I called the store and remembered what check out isle I used and asked them if anyone found a pack of chicken. They said that there was no chicken left behind. Then I went out and re checked the truck thinking it had to be in there. There was no sign of the chicken. Needless to say, I made something else for dinner that night. About two days passed if my memory serves me right and my truck had this HORRIBLE smell to it. It was like something had died in there. I started seeking out the stench and guess what?????, under the back seat was the pack of very spoiled and smelly chicken. How it got there, I will never know...... I laugh about it now but it really wasn't that funny at the time.
