What restaurants do you wish we had in the area?
I wish we still had a good Dog 'n Suds type restaurant. There is also a really great pizza place in Chicago, but I can't remember the name. I know you can buy them in the grocery stores here, but it's not the same at all! We also love going to this great seafood place called Shrimp Shack in Fort Myers, Florida when we go to visit my parents. We usually try to plan our trip so we get to FL around dinner time, and we go there straight from the airport! Also, I know we have one in Mishawaka, but I would LOVE an Olive Garden on the south side of South Bend!!

It's funny that I saw this posting and as I was clicking on it I was thinking to myself, "I really wish we had a Sonic!". They keep saying in the paper that they might be putting one here soon, but no official word yet. I've heard that there's a Sonic in Warsaw, but I'm not sure. We LOVE their ice cream treats! Yummy!

Its funny we were just talking about this yesterday at a birthday party. My sister in law said there is suppose to be a Sonic coming to SB... south side ? Don't know what a Sonic is !

I heard that there is a sonic coming to Mishawaka by Hooters. Plus I heard that there is a Del Taco coming there also. Don't know when it is going to happen but that is what I have heard.

I believe there is some type of restaurant going in beside Hooters because the new building looks like it has a drive-thru.
I've also heard rumors of a Culvers and a Del Taco coming to the south side of South Bend. I love Culvers :)

Golden Corral, Sizzler, Souper Salad, and brazilian steakhouses
Yummy!!!! I have a weakness for great soup & salad bars. Both Golden Corral and Sizzler have incredible soup/salad bars, and I think Souper Salad is self-explanatory. Hubby and I have been to a couple of Brazilian Steakhouses and have REALLY enjoyed them. Our favorite was called Tucanos in Albuquerque, NM , but there is also a decent one in Scottsdale, AZ called Rio Sabor in case anyone ever travels to the S.W. .
