Used Books?
Does anyone have any used books they would like to get rid of ? I work for SJRMC and we recieved this email today that the Family Medicine Center is out of books...I would be willing to pick up books and even drop off at the location for you! Or there is contact information below if you'd prefer that way...
The Reach Out and Read (ROR) Program at SJRMC is very instrumental in helping our parents understand the numerous benefits of reading to their children and developing a life-long love of reading. We are blessed to be able to provide books to children ages 0-5 at each well-child visit. We also offer a "library" of books in the waiting room of HFC, FMC and AFM that all children can look at, read and take home. CURRENTLY, THE SHELVES OF FAMILY MEDICINE CENTER'S LIBRARY ARE EMPTY. If you have new or gently used books for children ages 0-10, please consider dropping them by Family Medicine Center in Pavilion III, 1st floor. They will be appreciative of all gifts. Questions, contact Dr. Julie Fashner at 237-7749 or fashnerj@sjrmc.com.

Bloom for Books Program
Mary Frank Elementary in Granger has a program called Bloom For Books. It is where the kids donated gently used books and the PTA then gives them away to needy schools and youth programs. I am sure that your program would qualify for the program. Please call the school office and ask how you can apply to receive books. They have helped so many preschools, schools, and youth programs around the community, the state and in other states. Just a thought!
I would be willing to go
I would be willing to go through my childrens' book and donate some of the ones that don't read anymore. Please PM me so we can get together.

I would love to help . . .
I would love to help either with gently used books from my family or even trying to get donations from my company. Should I contact the person directly or go through you?
