So I have decided it is time to go through the toy room. My daughter will be 3 in November and I have never gotten rid of a single toy she has accumulated and well it's just gotten overwhelming. It's to the point where no one even knows what she has including herself and no one wants to step foot in the toy room as there just isn't enough room to play in there now. She doesn't play with 3/4 of them and like I said since I have never gotten rid of any there are toys for infants and newborns in there. I would like to get rid of them in one shot and am planning on having them all ready to go this weekend. If anyone knows of a daycare or church or even a needy family that could use them please let me know as I would be much happier knowing they are going to be put to good use instead of just throwing them in a goodwill box. Obviously I will throw out any toys that are not suitable to be played with or that are broken. Any suggestions would be great, I am estimating that there will be 2-3 large boxes. Not all are girls toys most are pretty neutral and they are age appropriate from birth-3/4 years old.

Hannah's House

This facility is local and helps a pregnant teen get on her feet. They have a program that lets the mother work to aquire some items they would love to own for her baby. Lynn

B.A.B.E store

The BABE store on Ireland Rd, which is in the same building as the WIC office would accept your donations. Through that program, moms can earn vouchers by attending parenting classes, taking their children to WIC appts., etc..., then use them at the BABE store to buy clothing, diapers, toys or larger baby items like boucy seats and carseats.

Also, First United Methodist Preschool in Mishawaka or St. Joseph Church Preschool also in Mishawaka would probably take some toys off your hands.

Not FUMC (First United Methodist)

The church is working with an organization known as PAC to implement some safety guidelines. The pastors are careful in developing curriculum and facility that recognize toys and games that are age appropriate and follow the rules the church is trying to establish. Lynn
