Congrats!!

Don't be nervous, at least the end is near!!  Were you enduced with your other kids?  I found it to be so much more relaxing than going into labor on my own, rushing to the hospital, barely making it in time for my epidural, etc.  Although, my enduced delivery was MUCH longer (almost 2 days), because it didn't work the first try.  I still would have chosen the enduction!!  Have a great delivery, and when you are feeling better, let us know how it went!  Congratulations :)

Good luck!

Hopefully you will feel better after that baby comes out and hopefully the difficulty of your pregnancy is no indication of the difficulty of the baby!

My First

This is my first induction I had pitocin with my son to move things along and pitocin after my daughter to stop the bleeding but always went to the hospital with natural labor started this is my first time going in not in labor that's is what is scary hopefully it doesn't last 2 days though I am 3.5 cm dilated right now. losing my mucus plug. and having mild labor contractions. I tried nipple stimulation for two days it didn't help any. I think all that stuff is old wives tales now. Ive done it all between the 3 pregnancies. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Mucus plug

If you've already lost your mucus plug, you can't be too far away from going into labor anyway!  When I lost mine, I immediately started having really strong contractions...and was 7 cm dilated within an hour!  I would guess that if you don't go naturally today, that the induction will work quickly tomorrow.  Isn't it something like you will go into labor within 72 hours of losing your mucus plug?  I was just over 36 weeks when I was enduced, so I'm sure my body wasn't really ready (I had preeclampsia), so if you are at your due date, I bet you will go quickly!  Good luck :)

Mucus Plug

Yeah I was due on the 17th so now I am over due. I think it's like within 24 to 48 hrs you go into labor after losing your mucus plug.
No brownish or bloody show but a hell of a lot of mucus since yesterday. Yeah I came close I have had high blood pressure but it went back down to normal I guess. I hope it's not a long labor I was in labor for 52 hours with my son he was 10 pounds!!!!!
This one isn't that big but wow a long labor is really exhausting.
LOL my 18 year old sister-n-law has no clue what it's like to give birth she is due in 10 weeks she wants to sit in on it. That will be interesting. She still watches Cartoons.
Nothing to educate herself on child birth.
I will let you all know what I had when I get home.
