Toledo, Ohio Zoo and more...

We are planning a trip to the Toledo Zoo next month. I was wondering if anyone has been there; or knows of what else to do in that area that is child friendly? We plan to stay over nite as well.

Great Wolf

I know it's about 45 minutes away, but Great Wolf Lodge is great! It's a hotel with a nice indoor water park. It's not overly huge, but a good size for kids, plus there is a really nice kiddie pool area. Rooms were clean, and we had alot of fun!

I think the Kalahari indoor water park is somewhere nearby also, and that one I guess is bigger with bigger slides and such. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law have taken their boys 2 years in a row and love it.

We did the Kalahari indoor park. It's actually been rated the best and biggest in Ohio! I lived in Ohio for the past 13 years until last year and I have been to many of them and I agree with the ratings.

We went to the Kalahari last year and my kids had a blast! There is a ton to do both indoors and out.
