The best training sippy cup?

Shawn is over 9 months old, and they only interest he takes in a sippy cup is if he finds Luke's laying around somewhere. I've tried a few different ones, and he's just not catching on. Anyone have a suggestion on what kind of sippy cup is good for a beginner?

sippy
I would think those rubber tipped sippy cups would be fine.
Our 12 month old wanted to
Our 12 month old wanted to use her sister's cup all the time, so we just let her use it. We tried the avent rubber topped ones, but they seemed to leak a lot so she does fine with the regular plastic sippy cups. She has been drinking out of one for over a month since we went straight from nursing to a sippy cup.
Dr. Brown
I tried a lots of sippy cups before but I found Dr. Brown sippy cup at Wallmart and it as been my son favorite. They say it;s the "training" sippy cup. He still use it for his daily water.
Avent does leak
Unfortuately the only sippy that works for Bekka is the avent and they do leak off and on. I don't know why, I make sure everything is put together really tight.
I loved the Nuby Sippy cups, they have many different styles at Walmart and are pretty cheap which is nice if you have alittle one that likes to loose them. Bekka used those for along time until she started having swallowing problems. They have a silicone "nipple" so I think it's easy to switch them from a bottle to that.

sippies
I do have a couple of the Nuby's from WalMart. He didn't care for them before, but I'll try them again. The top is similar to a bottle nipple, so I thought it would be an easier transition. I will also have to try a Dr. Brown's if this doesn't work. I just hate "testing" a million sippy cups. They are so expensive, and most of them leak! Luke uses the Gerber ones and I've never had leak problems with them. The tops are hard, so Shawn just likes to "teeth" on them, not drink out of it. :) Thanks for all the tips!

If you want to skip the sippy cup and go straight to regular cups, if you put rubber bands around the cup it makes it easier for the child to hold the cup. Just use one of those plastic cups for older kids and put a bunch of rubber bands around it.
