Dog Boarding
Submitted by starr3278 on July 23, 2008 - 11:50am.My husband and I are going to be going out of town for 5 days and we are looking for somewhere to board our dog that will take care of him. The Person who watches him normally is unable to watch him. I am in a panic I have never had to board our dog before so I know nothing about the Kennels in the area. If anyone has one they prefer please let me know I have called some in the phone book and I have yet to recieve a return phone call.
WiFi
Submitted by jessica on July 17, 2008 - 3:42pm.I have a sitter one day a week, and I have been taking my laptop and working from places that have WiFi. So far I know of Panera and Martin's Sidedoor Deli that offer free WiFi. Anyone know of anywhere else, and if there is a cost to use it? Thanks!
Internet, TV and Phone Service
Submitted by Gaile on July 16, 2008 - 12:27pm.I'm wondering if anyone knows another internet/phone/tv provider other Comcast? We've had Comcast since we moved here and are very unhappy with their customer service and billing. We've been overcharged so many times, and so many mess ups on the bill, not to mention missed appointments and horrible customer service that we'd really like to change providers. Right now we have a bundle pack that covers our phone, internet and television. I've tried Verizon and AT&T and they aren't in South Bend. Does anyone else use another provider other then Comcast they can recommend? Thanks!

churches & bible study with childcare

Does anyone know which churches have bible study with childcare?
I would love to find a church that has a bible study class for adults. I need one that has child care while I do this. I live in Mishawaka. Does anyone know of any churches that offer this. I am not married to my boyfriend and our last church told him we were not welcome, because I was pregnant. I would like a church in Mishawaka or very close by due to gas prices.

Guilt
Submitted by Tanesha on July 14, 2008 - 10:49pm.Last night I went out with some friends and felt guilty because I didn't bring the kids along (It was to the Summerfest in Michigan City) in the end it was so packed that I am glad that I didn't bring my children...Has anyone ever felt guilty about having a girls night out without the kids or am I just crazy? I take my kids whereever I go and I rarely leave them with a babysitter unless I am going to work of course. I feel like I should go somewhere without the guilt yet I still feel it.
What do you girls think? Is it just me or do other women feel this way. None of my friends seem to mind leaving their kids for extended periods of time.

2. How can we get to know one another on the site? Is there any way to view other people's profiles in order to get to know who's on the site?

Regarding the tip of the day
Submitted by osbo45 on July 9, 2008 - 10:09pm.The tip of the day is regarding Beef Stir Fry, stating that putting the beef in the freezer for about 15 minutes makes it easier to cut thin. I just wanted to add one of my favorite tips/tricks when it comes to stir-fry meat; SCISSORS!!! I use clean scissors and cut away. It works quite well. I know I'm not the first person out there to do this but I know I'm not the last either so I thought I'd share.

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.
And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.
The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!
