Has anyone been to the Target Portrait Studio's in the Super Target in Mishawaka? Do you have a favorite Photographer? Good or Bad experiences?

My sister loves her Target Portrait Studio's in Indianapolis. We are taking 3 kids there to get there yearly picture together. I have not heard anything about our Portrait Studio here in Super Target in Mishawaka.

Yes and No

I went and had some Christmas pictures taken about 2 years ago from there...The pictures came out really good and the price was excellent. I wasn't really impressed with the photographer (sorry don't know name). She wasn't very personable but I suppose she got the job done. I would probably go back there before somewhere else just because the price was really good and it was convienent.

I haven't personally gone

I haven't personally gone there... but I have seen results from friends and family. They were soooo good. I couldn't believe they were from target, for some reason. They all said the prices were really great as well.

we've had good luck

We've had pretty good luck with photographers at Target...only one bad experience last X-mas. The prints turned out great, but the photographer wasn't very personable with the kids, so in turn, they didn't give her much cooperation. All other sessions have been good and we haven't had a bad picture yet. We usually opt for the $7.99 coupon package deal which gives us just the right amount of photos we need.

I've heard Portrait Innovations up in Granger does a pretty good job and for a reasonable price as well.

Not good at all

We took our son to the SuperTarget for his 3 month and 6 month pictures last year and were not impressed either time. The first time the photographer was really personable, but the pictures were not of great quality and they were two weeks late. The second time, the photographer was really REALLY not nice, got me into my appointment 15 minutes late and then only spent 15 minutes with my son, our pictures weren't that great and they were a week late. I decided to try the Portrait Innovations over in Heritage Square and for the price I paid at Target I received the undivided attention of two of the photographers (who seem to be trained much better) for as long as I needed - usually about an hour to an hour and a half, the pictures were printed in 15 minutes, AND I received two times the photos that I did at Target (25 sheets for 79.95 PLUS a free CD of ALL of the pictures compared to 12 sheets at Target for 79.95). It was well worth it and the quality of the pictures at Portrait Innovations is so much clearer.

all

We do pictures all the time because I'm spoiled and scrapbook everything. I hate sears and can't wait for it to blowup. We love the inexpensive option of target but don't like that photographer has no pulse and portrait innovations is supremo. We love the manager at picture people but their props and backdrops are gross and beyond nasty. And, we've never been to jcpenney??? not sure why. Lynn

Just OK

I have been to the Super Target one once last Feb for my daughters 1 month pics. They did fine with her when she was not able to do much, but if they are at all like JCP, they dont interact with them very well so its hard to get good pics. Plus they only take like 20 and just snap them even if they arent good. I really really recommend Portrait Innovations as well!! THey are awesome there, we have been there about 4 times and will def keep going back there. They take 50-70 pics and like a pp said, if you get a certain package and up, you get a disk will all the pics on them. For a group of kids, i would def go to PI instead of Targer
