    Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers' needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do.
  • Michiana Parents of Multiples Club
    MPOMC is a support group providing friendship, advice and education concerning the care and development of multiple birth children. We maintain a library of publications concerning twins and higher order multiples and have access to research and information for parents of special needs children. We have holiday parties, picnics and fun opportunities for the entire family.
  • Mothers Matter
    We are a support group for women that may be suffering from postpartdum depression. This group meets at 7:00 pm til about 8:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. Location: Memorial Hospital of South Bend - third floor, by the childbirth ward, in an education room. Park in the Lafayette Garage and just enter on the third floor. Children are welcome at the group, but some moms like the time away to talk with other moms. It is an open forum and we talk about whatever the moms want to talk about. All women who are suffering with PPD or those that are not sure are welcome to see that they are not alone.
  • The Compassionate Friends
    The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child at any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.  We offer a safe place for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings
    to meet and talk freely about your child and your grief issues.
  • Young Moms’ Self-Sufficiency Program
    The Youth Services Bureau of St. Joseph County in South Bend assists young mothers to identify realistic academic and employment goals, improve the health and nutrition of family members, increase a personal sense of competence and self-esteem, and foster a healthy relationship between father and children.

    Family Christian Development Center works closely with the community in which it serves. Since 1996 Family Christian Development Center has collaboratively worked to see the life of our community enhanced.
  • Mended Little Hearts
    When a child is diagnosed with a congenital heart defect/heart disease, parents and caregivers may think hope is lost. Often they feel all alone. That is why Mended Little Hearts is such an important part of our community. Mended Little Hearts, a nationwide organization for parents, caregivers and families of children with heart problems, provides resources and a caring support network to help families work through overwhelming emotions involved with having a child with a heart problem. This organization is deticated to helping families move foward to find hope, healing and laughter. We are also deticated to educating our community about Congenital Heart Defects and the effects of them on families.

    9 out of every 1,000 live births have some type of congenital heart disorder Approximately 36,000 babies are born with a heart defect each year.

    The Down Syndrome Family Support and Advocacy Group is a non-for profit 501c3 organization. We are proud to serve the South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Bremen, Plymouth, LaPorte, and other surrounding cities in Northern Indiana in addition to South West Michigan.

    Southern Michiana Mothers & More is a newly established chapter of the national Mothers & More organization. We offer monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Lakeville Conservation Club. We also host a variety of activities, both with and without children, such as playgroups, moms nights out and other social activities. We are a group of moms here to support each other as we make our way through motherhood.
