I am hoping someone on here may be able to help. Give suggestions, anything. Some of you may know that I am the vice chair for the Relay for Life of South Bend this year. It is a fund raising event to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those that we lost to cancer, and to fight back! We always have a survivor dinner. Which is so nice, the survivors come and eat a nice meal and listen to motivational speakers. It's a great event. Anyways, my problem is, the restaurant that said they were going to supply the food, decided that they can't do it. We are in deep trouble. Do any of you know of any place that is looking to get involved, that would possibly donate the food for the cause???? If you do, please let me know.

If any of you would like to be involved it is an amazing event. We are so excited because B100 just signed up and they are promoting the heck out of it. It is going to be awesome. We have a Michiana Mommies team that we would love to have any mommies for the area join. So just let me know.

That's great. It is so much fun. I love doing it. I just believe in the cancer society.

I had the same problem in coordination for March of Dimes. I had a couple restaurants back out on me, and some for reasons beyond their control. Just keep trying to call other restaurants though, and especially if you explain the situation hopefully someone can come through!

Chick-fil-A

try chick-fil-a, they're a christian based company that respects the sabbath and free advertising goes a long way with some companies. Also check local start-up companies still trying to make a name for themselves.

Between the Buns

I would try Between the Buns. they are a local company that is growing, growing and growing. THey have great food and the owners are really great.

Or Martins Catering. Martins, another local company may be a good idea.

I would love to be apart of this!!

Thank you all for the great suggestions. Chick-fil-A is an amazing company. They are doing great things for us already.

We would love any and all of you to be a part of this. It is a lot of fun, but a roller coaster ride. I know that if you click on the relay for life banner it will take you right to the link for the relay. You can read all about it there!! It's amazing!
