When do the kiddos get out of school for Spring Break?  What are your plans...go on vacation or stay home?  If you are staying home, are you planning any day trips or fun activities?

We always go to my parent's house in Florida.  We are very lucky to have a free place to stay, with a pool in the back yard!  They also pay for us to come visit twice a year, Christmas and Spring Break.  We joke that when we go visit, we actually save money because my mom insists on buying diapers, wipes, baby food, etc. so we don't have to pack any of it.  They have a crib, all kinds of toys for the kids, Excersaucer, so it's like being at home.  We don't have to lug carseats on the airplane either.  It's great, we throw our clothes in a suitcase and go!

Spring Break

I have no idea when my sons spring break is. I am sure that we will not be doing anything. But it sure would be nice is the hubby doesn't have too much work to do, to get away for a night with our son. Just some plan old fashion family time. But we should also save up our money for our camping trips we have a bunch of those scheduled already for this spring/summer/fall.

I think our spring break is a little late this year because it isn't until the first full week in April. I think most schools are on that same schedule, but since they moved the school year up it seems kind of odd that they go back for only another 6 weeks and then school is out.

We are going to Florida as well to see my parents and go to Disney for a couple days. The kids are excited and are well aware that we have cut costs to save money to go on vacation. They don't ask to go out to eat anymore because I kept reminding them that if we eat out all the time we won't have money for vacation!

Nowhere now

We were going to go to AZ to visit my dad and stepmom for spring break. Now plans have changed. We are going to Vegas to meet up with them in june for my 2yr olds 3rd birthday which is the friday before fathers day.
