Splash at the Park, Anyone????
My boys have been BEGGING to go to one of the Mishawaka parks and play at the splash pads. Tomorrow it is supposed to be hot, and possibly raining the rest of the week. I think we are going to go to Merrifield Park tomorrow to let the boys get a little wet. If anyone wants to join us I think we'll probably go about 11:00 and take a picnic lunch with us. It may be a little crowded, since it's the first day of summer but it can't be worse than the 26 bus loads of kids at the last park we were at!!!!!

I've been talking about taking Luke too, and I just told my husband today we all needed to get together this week! I'll try to make it. Shawn is in a wierd napping stage now, so I never know whether he will take 1 or 2 naps. I'll post here in the morning and let you know if we'll be there :)

I was wondering, when you meet, how do you find each other? I would love to join one of these outings but I don't know anyone. Let me know how to find you. Assuming my daughter sleeps tonight I would love to go.

We will have to come the next one. My oldest is just getting over a cold, my middle and baby both have colds in full force. I am trying to keep laid back because my baby turns 2 soon and her party is on Sunday, so i want her to be well by then. Also I am trying to cope with allergies. (the only one healthy is hubby!) We will come to the next one hopefully!

How to find each other . . .
We've talked about different ways to find each other . . . I still think the ribbon (to pin on your shirt or tie on your bag) would be a great idea! But, until then . . . I am a mom with three boys. Today I happen to be wearing gray shorts and a jean shirt and my long curly mess of hair is piled up on top of my head so that I didn't have to do it this morning! :) Monica, if you come please introduce yourself and I'll try to keep an eye out for you too!

I just got the baby down for a nap, and I'll let him sleep for 1 hour...just to get him through till afternoon. How long do you plan on being at the park? We could probably make it by noon, if you will be there that long. Monica, do you have a cell # you could PM me, so I can call you in a bit and make sure there aren't a million bus-loads of kids at the park? :)

We're heading out . . .
The boys are very anxious . . . I think they're already in the van so we'll be heading out soon. We're planning on being there for a while, and we're taking our lunch so we will be there till after noon for sure. We may go back and forth between the splash pad and the playground and they aren't right by each other so you may need to look around a little! I'll pm my cell to you, Jessica!
