Space Bags

Has anyone tried Space Bags? We've recently cleaned out our basement. We really don't have a ton of stuff left, but I do have lots of bedding that takes up a good amount of space. I have the basement organized the way I want it, and I don't want to start buy/stacking more plastic storage containers.
I know you can buy Space Bags all over, so are they worth the money? There are different size bags, so does anyone have advice on which ones are the best? Thanks!

Not 100%...
Worth it. We bought them and thought they were going to be great. They started off great, but they don't always keep the air out. The seals on a couple of the bags have broken and don't work anymore. The ones that seem to work the best are the small ones and the HUGE ones. We put the bedding in one of the big ones and that still seems to be working.
?????
What's a space bag? Are they the ones you suck all the air out of? Have you considered getting those HUGE ziplock bags . . . I've never bought one, but I've seen them. Then you could just push the air out and I think they might be cheaper.

bags
Yes, they are reusable plastic bags that you put stuff in, vacuum out the air, and it condenses the contents down to next to nothing. I found them at Bed Bath & Beyond for $27 for 12 bags. I've thought about the Ziploc, but I'm not sure if I could get enough air out to actually save space. I have queen size bedding that I store, until we have out of town company come, and between sheets, pillows, comforter, it's like 5 garbage bags taking up space on a shelf in my basement. Can someone whose used both compare the Ziploc bags?

I do use both and the ziploc
I do use both and the ziploc bags will do the same work of your garbage bags so if you want a save some spaces then go with the space bags- I used mine for storage, go in car trips or airplane and never had one problem. For $27/12 bags it's a good price :)
airplanes
Are you allowed to use them in your suitcases on airplanes? I know alot of times our bags get those tickets saying they searched them, so I wonder how that would work if you have everything in space bags? Man, this would be so great for traveling, especially since each passenger is only allowed to check 1 bag now (unless you want to pay $25 for the 2nd bag).

Big Ziploc Bags
Jessica, After spending the afternoon trying to use the big ziploc bags to help organize my basement's furance/storage room, I'm going to buy the space bags tomorrow. Ziploc bags were great for somethings, but I tried to put my spare/old twin size blankets in the XL bags. They don't fit and I couldn't get them to close or stay close. If you have queen size stuff, no way! I'll try the space bags. Something has to work! ; )
Question
My question is if you suck all the air out and pack it away in your suitcase like some say to do... how in the world do you bring all those clothes back if the machine is at home that sucks out the air??

true!
But we rarely fly anywhere but my parent's house in Florida, so I would always have a way to suck the air out before flying home. You are probably right though, it could be an issue if you are going to be in a hotel or somewhere with no vacuum.
I think I will go buy some today and try them out.

airplane
I never had problems so far for the airplane traveling (Mexico to US) and my bags never opened but i had a friend that bought the cheap ones and they all opened in the plane with the pressure. I would buy only good quality ones so they don't open and last longer.
I have the pack mate and they are rolling bags so no need of a vaccum; love them!
Zip lock
I use the zip lock bags for our bedding and clothing that we are not going to use for a while. For the bedding, I add a fabric sheet inside the bag and all of our blankets come out smelling soooooo good. I usually buy the largest ones I can find. I think I get the 2XX large.
