Selling recalled toys
I just read in the Feb Parents mag that only eight states actually ban the sale of recalled products. They include: Michigan, Vermont, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri, Rhode Island, Arkansas and Louisiana. That was pretty shocking to me,I never would have even thought about it. I thought once items where recalled they were off the shelves, guess not!

Wow! I wonder how many stores out there are desperate enough for a sale that they would leave recalled toys on the shelves? That's a scary thought! I guess that's why, as a parent, you have to do the homework yourself to keep your kids safe.
