Schools in MIchigan

We live in Brandywine District but my daughter is going to Northside for Spec Ed preschool. Brandywine is horrible you have to fight for everything. I'm getting ready to start a lawsuit against them because they won't pick Bekka up on the bus because she's in a wheelchair and the only w/c bus they have is too big to go down our one lane road.

I haven't heard anything bad about Niles school district. My Step Son is 15 and has gone there for about 5 years now and they've worked with him alot regarding academics.

Edwardsburg has nice school if your child is "normal" but I think for special needs they're not the greatest because they try to keep their "Blue Ribbon" school status and I've known some teenagers that they didn't support enough because they weren't good students and 2 of them ended up dropping out. It's like they try to weed out kids that will bring their scores down.

Just my opinion, but keep researcing it. Find out if they have any special programs for ADHD.

Henry (5) is going to New Buffalo school. We really looked around and found their schools (especially elementary) to be outstanding. I don't know if that helps or not... We love his kindergarten and everything we have participated in so far has been outstanding. Take care.
