school choice ?
If there is anyone interested in a school choice for the near future drop me a pm. Only serious inquires though please this would be something that would be available come the fall of 09. I have information on a upcoming meeting that is in support of this school choice.

If you are a parent in or around the South Bend School area and would like to be able to explore a school choice option for the near future I have some possitive information for another public school option. The grades would begin from Kdg-4th (?) i think, with school growth scheduled adding grades until reaching 8th.
I am looking to discuss this option with anyone that is truely looking for a school option.

My oldest will be a 4th grader at Kennedy in 09, but my youngest will be starting in Kindergarten. So I am very concerned about getting him into a SB school that we are happy with. Did you attend a recent school board meeting to get this info? I try to watch the news on school board updates, but they never tell much. At this point I know we will apply to get Colin into Kennedy but they are turning so many away that I wouldn't be surprised if I have to find another option. We will probably try for the Hamilton Traditional Magnet because it is right in my neighborhood but I am still very open to other options that include more technology in their curriculum. I looked at the aqs link and I see it is a charter school, so how is SB Schools going to work this in?
