Rent to Own Home

Does anyone know of any sites where you can search for rent to own homes? I know there are some on craigs list but I'm not really sure I can trust that site. I've tried doing a google search but I keep coming up with site that say 0 when I type in my search criteria (which only consists of a zip code and I've done a few different zip codes...)

Ive tried some of the sites on craigslist and really they have like 1 or 2 homes in bad neighborhoods. After lots of looking the best Ive found is to drive around in the neighborhood you like and find the signs. Our landlord is a realtor and she never post her rentals online and she said many others do not because they do not like to be bombarded with calls and emails. Near Scottsdale area there are a ton of rent to own homes lots of signs :)

I agree drive around in the area you would like to be in. We had a house a few years ago we decided to rent out and we just put a "for rent" sign in the window and got a ton of response and never needed to advertise online or the paper, others may have the same experience.

I was reading your post and I am not sure where you are looking to live but there is a nice rent to own home on Patterson street in Lakeville it's a 4 bedroom 2 story with a basement and it has recently been remodeled. Located in a very quiet safe neighborhood with tons of kids. if you take 31 south you just continue on and make a left on Patterson there is a gas station on the corner so you cant miss it. The house is about 2 blocks down on the left side. Good luck to you.
