One product I can't live

One product I can't live without is the Boppy pillow!  I am nursing, and it is wonderful!  Not sure how I went without it while nursing our first son!

On the other side, one thing I wish we could go back and change was the nursery furniture we bought.  We bought a 5 drawer chest and the changing table/dresser that matched.  I now wish we would have bought furniture that could also be used after we no longer needed the changing table.  For what we spent on the nursery furniture, I could have bought furniture that would have lasted till the kids went to college!  I could have easily put a changing pad on top of a regular dresser, and it worked just as well.

Nothing really

I don't rely on anything especially a boppy found it was the biggest waste of my money I was and am a nursing mommy.

love the boppy too!

A must have for me too ! The boppy. Having three kids the boppy served its purpose. I found that it was a must have especially early on in nursing. At first I always grabbed the couch pillows and they just were not right. I received the boppy as a gift and it got alot of use. Even after I was done nursing it served as a great support for a little one learning to sit.

We too experienced they same with the nursery furniture as well. Although it served for the three kids it was good, but once the third was well into the toddler stages the room in the drawers was limiting. We also experienced the same then buying a kids bedroom set. My oldest is turned 11 and is 5'2 almost and the kids bedroom drawers are not big enough. We learned when we bought the last child a bedroom set we bought a full size set to last a lifetime! My suggestions to anyone on furniture by it once. My children are not allowed to abuse the furniture either and they played on the first floor for a long time.

Must haves too would be the front and back pack carriers (we are very active on a farm) they were great for the kids. gave me a extra set of hands with a newborn and toddlers needing attention.
We loved our adjustable heighth high chair. Great especially with the first one when it was just her to be fed we could lower it to any level for our comfort.

This is funny but true . When buying a stroller for the first time no matter how many children you plan to have. Buy a double stroller. My mom bugged me to do this and I wish I would have listened the first time. Even having just one child the double stroller is very helpful while shopping and gives you extra space to carry items --stuff you need for baby or Christmas gifts!

Stroller

My husband and I joke that even when the kids are out of the house and in college we will still be pushing a stroller around the mall!  I have to agree, the stroller is handy for toting around everything we buy at the stores.  I remember Christmas shopping one year and we ended up taking Luke out of the stroller, and loading more presents in it!  Great idea on the double stroller...holds the kids AND the more stuff!

peanut shell

I absolutely love the peanut shell sling. It cradles newborns and is working great as a hip and back carrier for my 18 mo. old. It has become my official baby shower gift.

Baby Pouches

Oh yes the Peanut Cling is great also!!! I have had a BUNCH a different carriers, specially with my now 18month old!! But I LOVE my pouches!! No hassell! Pop it on Pop baby in no fuss!! Great at the Farmers Market on crowded Saturdays. I use mine now for hip carries, I NEVER leave home without atleast my pouch. My hands are already full with my 2 1/2 yo step son, 4yo daughter & 6 yo daughter! With my fiances work hours I am always out and about alone during the week and my baby loves the pouches specially when shes not feeling well.
It folds up tiny to carry in my purse! Oh I cant gush enough, too bad I RARELY see anything but Bjorns and Evenflo carriers around here those hurt my back! Okay enough enough lol ohh I have recently become pretty attached to our ring sling too!

:(

I still cry when I think about its absence... Johnson & Johnsons Milk Wash. They don't make it anymore. It was milky and smooth and the fragrance was out of this world great. Now we use plain ole' Aveeno- no gross smells! Lynn

Diaper Genie

The Diaper Genie is not worth the money. The diaper champ works a lot better. I wish I had it. You don't have to touch the diapers or the bag they go in. Plus it takes regular garbage bags and not special bags.

Oh that was the name of the

Oh that was the name of the diaper pail - diaper genie!! we thru it away!! did not keep stench in at all, needed special bags, and i had the hardest time putting the diapers in! But for some reason I have heard time and time again the girls at the baby registry in Babies R Us raving over it to unknowing soon to be parents:( And most of those registry girls have no children agh
