please help my feet!
It's summer, and my feet have never looked worse! I am about 1 home remedy/treament away from going to the doctor! Now, to me, my feet are awful, but I have seen worse, so I don't think medical attention is necessary at this point, however I'm not sure what to do anymore. I have used every pumice stone, callus shaver, foot file known to man, and my skin on my heels and bottoms of my feet just grows back thicker and thicker within a day or two. Lotions don't do anything. Salt scrubs aren't cutting it anymore either. This is beyond a good lotion or an olive oil home remedy! Even after I soak, file and lotion, I can still SEE the dry "canyons" in my heels, and my feet only look decent for a day or so. Under my toes is dry and starting to get thick skin like my heels. I need a REAL product that is proven to help! Please help!!! I'm so embarrased of my feet :(
I have read reviews online about Flexitol Heel Balm, and people say it's a miracle. Has anyone tried it, or have another suggestion?

FEET!
I know I shouldn't say this... BUT YAHOO... Someone else has the same problem as me. I have used everything!! And I mean everything on the market. I have found some things work better than others, but the cost of the products appears to be just plan HIGH! I wanted something less costly. Right now I am using Foot Butter by Dr. Scholls. There is another product that I purchase at Wal-Mart that is most costly, but works great. But I have forgotten the name. Yeah I know that helps you out a lot!

Ped Egg
Have you used the Ped Egg yet? You can buy it any drugstore. My feet are TERRIBLE and besides actual pedicures this works great! I bought it this past weekend and used it, afterward I lotioned my feet really good (you can use vaseline too) and put socks on. Try it, it works great
pedicures
Joni, you aren't alone either! My feet are yuck too :( Actually, I would be embarrassed to even get a pedicure because I'm so self-conscious of my feet. After I read this, I did a quick search for reviews on that Flexitol stuff grangermom mentioned, and the reviews sold me. I went to Walgreens and bought it and tried it out immediately when I got home. So far, I like it! My feet still feel rough, but it's been 4 hours, and they look fantastic. From what I've read, to get the best results, use a file or stone each day, then apply this stuff. Over a couple of weeks, you will notice your feet getting soft and staying soft. We'll see! Either way, I would continue to buy it just because it really took the dry look away immediately!
And the larger bottle was on sale at Walgreens this week for $6.99 AND there was another package attached that was a free tube! I think regular was $9.99 for 4 oz.

When I have problems with my feet I put my "oil cream" rap it in a plastic bag and put some socks for the evening...you can leave for as long you want. Yes it feels funny to walk with a plastic bag but really feels good.
feet!
Yep! I have the same trouble too. I like to use bag balm and do the bag thing or put a pair of footies on for the night, bag balm really helps moisten up those heals. I also have read that there may be a fungus that attributes to those hard nasty heals, but I have never had a doctor see my feet. My grandmother had the same trouble and I can remember rubbing corn huster oil on her feet all the time. When I was pg with my first my heals were so bad that I ended up with cracks on them a 1/4 of an inch deep. My mom gave me some Johnsons foot soap to soak my feet in and that made a world of a difference and my cracks were able to heal then
For those that have achey feet try using Absorbine Jr. as a foot rub, that releaves the achy feeling.
thank you
Thanks everyone. I did try the Flexitol, and I love it so far! Like jessica said, it made my feet look better already too! Two things though....it is a bit thick and sticky, so I put socks on right after for 30 minutes. By then it soaks in enough that you won't get the stuff on your floors. Also, it takes a good scrubbing and some good grease cutting soap to get it off your hands, so I wouldn't just put alot in your hand and massage it in. I would apply it with only a couple of fingers, then put the socks on. I can't wait to see the results after a week or two! :) Thanks everyone!
the ped egg
I don't know whey I didn't try it sooner! I love it. My feet are so smooth and they usually have very deep cracks. The emery board smooths off the shavings. Then I vaseline and wear socks. It works like a champ!.Lynn
