Pediatrcian who to go to or not?

We go to the South Bend Clinic office on Ironwood and Inwood (Ironwood Medical).  Our pediatrician and family doctor is Dr. David Kramer.  He is absolutely wonderful and great with the kids!  He truly cares about his patients, and you can tell it's not just a job to him.  We have had no trouble getting into the office last minute, even if it's something small, he will always find a way to squeeze us in before the end of the day.  We have an 8 week old, and we called the office after coming home from the hospital with a concern.  He called us back himself within minutes...didn't have his nurse relay a message, he took time out of his schedule to call us.  He was referred to us by a friend, my sister in law's entire family uses him, and I've since referred him to many people who can't say enough great things about him!  I would highly recommend him!  Good luck!

I also take my daughter to Dr.David Kramer is a great Doctor I think very open to the newer things and great when it comes to advice he knows what your child is doing before you tell him.

We have used Michiana Pediatrics for 11 years and love Dr. John Rice. He is the most wonderful, kind and caring doctor that I have used. He has worked through many different situations with us and will always return a personal call if we or he feels that a message is not suitable and needs more information. The office has a few different docs in there but I can always get my doctor for normal apts. and may have to use another for after hour calls. But the office is very good at communicating with staff. Its great that the office has after hours for the needed apts. Saturdays and Sundays and even holidays execpt I believe they are closed on New years and Christmas day. Open until 8 pm and like till noon on the other holidays. Dr. Rice met with us before the birth of our first child which I felt was important to us to meet the Doctor that would be seeing us in the hospital. Our children get upset if I make a appointment to take another in during a time in which they all can't go because they love to see their doctor and it pleases me to know that they are not afraid of him. He listens to our concerns and thiers too.

I TAKE MY SON TO DR. WYKOFF AT THE SOUTH BEND CLINIC 233-7337. SHE IS GREAT. SHE TAKES THE TIME TO REALLY LISTEN TO THE PARENTS AND THEIR CONCERNS. I LIVE IN BREMEN AND I DRIVE THE 35 MINUTES TO SEE HER. MY MOM WORKED THERE SO KNEW ALL THE DOCTORS. SHE DOES HAVE KIDS SO I KNOW A COUPLE DAYS SHE STAYS LATE AND OTHERS SHE LEAVES EARLY. WHAT IS NICE IS THAT THEY HAVE AN AFTER HOURS. WERE YOU CAN SEE THE PEDS DOCTOR ON CALL UNTIL ABOUT 8 OR SO ( I THINK) THEY HAVE THAT ON SATURDAYS AS WELL. AND AN AFTER HOURS AFTER THE PEDS DEPARTMENT CLOSES. ALL THE DOCTORS ARE VERY GOOD. MY SON WAS VERY SICK THE LAST TWO WINTERS SO I GOT TO KNOW ALL THE DOCTORS AND DR. DAVIS IS VERY GOOD AS WELL. MY BROTHER TAKES HIS LITTLE GIRL TO SEE HIM (ALSO AT HE CLINIC). DR. DURHAM IS ALSO GOOD. I HAVE SEEN HIM TWICE, AND HE WAS ALSO VERY GOOD AND VERY CARING. I DONT LIKE THOSE PLACES WHERE YOU SEEM JUST LIKE A CHART AND THEY ARE ALL VERY GOOD, AND THEY ARE PEDS SO THEY SPECIALIZE IN CHILDREN. MY SON HAS ALSO HAD HIS TONSELS OUT AND TUBE IN TWICE AND SAW DR. SABOTO IN THE ENT DEPARTMENT HE IS ALSO VERY GOOD. I HOPE THIS HELP. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THE PEDS DEPARTMENT AT THE SOUTH BEND CLINIC....THEY WERE ARE AWESOME.
