Parks on south side of Southbend
I am looking for a nice and clean park with playground area on the Southside of Southbend for kids of 2,3 and 4 yrs old. I was looking for Kennedy Water park but they are closing on August 10th and I am planning a morning on September 9th... any suggestions?
Lakeville
It's a little south of South Bend, but well worth the few minute drive! Newton Park in Lakeville. It's super clean and so nice! You may have to call about scheduling a day though, I'm not sure. It's a great playground.

Potawatomi Park has a wonderful new playground which is handicapped accessible with lots of different things to play on than a lot of the other parks in the area. My kids love the things you can hang and spin on, and I personally enjoy the big plastic bongo drums. It was pretty clean the time we went, but that was shortly after it opened, about a month ago.
Rum Village is fun...
