One or two ply?

Do you buy 1 or 2 ply toilet paper?
It's never been a question in our house - 2 ply it is! But, I accidentally bought 1 ply 3 weeks ago, and we STILL have 5 out of 12 rolls left! No one likes the 1 ply, but we seem to use so much less! I wonder if I could make a switch without catching heck? :)

1 ply
Until you mention it, I never thought about it. To be honest I only buy what is on sale when it comes to paper towels and toilet paper.

Buying paper products
I agree that I tend to buy what's on sale but it does help to compare. Don't compare how many rolls of toilet paper or paper towels are in a package, but compare the square footage which is labeled on the front of the package. You will be shocked that some packages seems bigger due to more rolls or double rolls, but the real amount may be very different. So, compare square footage (or square meter) next time you shop.
Scotts
We use Scotts toliet tissue. Best value, goes the farthest, good for the septic, has no fuzz so it doesn't cause infections, may be a little less appealing due to texture.
Check out the prices and then watch for the sales you can get 2/12 counts for 10 bucks and it really does last, not good for noses though.
