Noggin 24 hours a day
So Luke and I just sat down to do a little work, and I turned on a cartoon for him. A commercial just came on Noggin that said starting New Years Eve, it will be on 24 hours a day! Is that really necessary? What are your thoughts?
I'm not against tv, but geez oh pete, how much tv can a kid really watch? Now, I totally agree with getting rid of The N, or whatever Noggin changes to at 5 or 6, after the cartoons are over. Have you ever watched some of those shows? I can't believe it's on a cartoon channel! Anyway, what do you think of cartoons available 24 hours a day?

tv
we normally have the TV on in the evening on disney channel but we are normally doing something. He gets 30 minutes of tv time where he actually sits down and watches it before bed when he gets a snack. Summer the TV isnt on at all except before bed. When I take a day off, I normally will leave the TV on a disney channel but we are normally coloring, projects, working on our writing, normally he doesnt even watch it. Saturday morning if we just want to lay around for a while I will turn it on and he will lay with me for about 30-45 minutes but after that he is ready to go. He isnt a TV watcher and I am happy about that.
TV
Well I watch TV all the time there isn't anything else I can do. In the summer I get out but too cold to do anything, it's on a lot even when Im not watching it, it's on. The TV is on 24/7 in my daughters room but she only really watches it at bedtime. It's just TV I grew up with it and so does the rest of the world I don't think its a bad thing.
