New features and opinions wanted!
We have added a couple of new features to MichianaMoms.com. First, you may have noticed the Random Recipe on the home page. Every time the page is refreshed, it shows a recipe from our very own recipe box, those are recipes submitted by MichianaMoms like you!
Another new feature is a much-needed upgrade to the Private Message page. It has a much cleaner look, and shows the avatar of the sender and their online status.
We are always looking for ways to improve MichianaMoms.com. This is your website, and we'd love to hear your suggestions! What features would you like to see? Anything that needs an update or improving....we can handle contructive criticism :)

Have a celebration section, when your child does something well or gets an award, etc., we hear lots of negative topics or painful events. Post when your child loses a tooth, rides without training wheels, a grandchild goes to college, someone learns to tie his/her shoes. As a group we can congratulate that child. Lynn
weight loss
Lynn's thread about weight loss made me wonder, how about adding a permanent section for everyone to post goals, thoughts, progress, etc? Any ideas on what to include?

I like the new features! I also love both ideas . . . a place to congratulate and a place to track/help with weight loss would be great as well. Maybe a way to put in a goal (like lose 25 lbs) and then put in your progress each week till you reach your goal. I think I'd be more motivated if I knew others could see my progress. (or lack of progress) ;)

I like having pictures on everyones page because it give you more of a sense of who you are talking to. My husband doesnt like me being online talking to people because he thinks there are probably pervs on the other end of some of these conversations. Which could be true... So i like talking to the people that have family pics on their pages :)
