Has anyone been to the childrens museum at Navy Pier? Was it fun? How long did you spend there? We were planning on going Saturday and I just wanted to know if it would be worth it. From what I read there isn’t much more for a 17 month old and a 5 year old to do.

So worth it

A friend and I went over spring break with our kids ranging in age from 6 years to 8 months. They had a blast! We went on the free Monday (which I know believe is free Sunday) so we only paid for the adults. We spent a good 5 plus hours there and we didn't even touch the surface. There is a place for 5 and unders (the older kids enjoyed this room) which is set up as an outdoor tree house. I would recommend skipping the first floor until later in the day when it clears out and immediately head upstairs to the other exhibits. There is an entire room dedicated to water with a huge water playscape, a dino. room where the kids can dig for bones, a flower room, an art room, etc. We are contemplating getting a year long pass because we felt they got more out of it then Curious Kids.
