Med Point Express
So on Sunday night I checked Olivia temp and it was a 103.1 I was starting to freak out. My mom suggested going to med point express (jessica also did last week when olivia had pink eye but i didn't go my doctor called in a script for her). So i pack up Olivia and we go. But they don't see babies under 2 years old. We haven't slept much in the last three nights. But tonight is the best she has felt in three days. So hopefully we will get to sleep tonight.

I hope your baby gets better soon! It's so hard when they are sick. Luke is going on day three with a fever of 103 - 104! He doesn't get sick often, but even a slight cold seems to bring on a high fever. The last time this happened was back in January, and I think it lasted 4 or 5 days, so hopefully we are at the end.
What other symptoms did Olivia have besides a fever?
But I had no idea that MedPoint Express didn't take kids under 2! Good to know!

that was exactly what
that was exactly what happened with Avory. After 6 days of the fever she developed that gross smoker's cough and a runny face. She only coughs now when she wakes. 3weeks. Hope she gets better soon, yours also Jessica. Lynn

Are you talking about the one in Mishawaka? I was sent there (by daycare) with my 1 year old when we first moved here and didn't have insurance yet. They sent me away as well, but there is one right down the road on the corner of Main and 23. It's a full sized building and they had no problems taking my son. He had an ear infection so I was glad I was able to get him in.

There is also a MedPoint Express in the Martin's on the south side of South Bend. That's the one I went to. I just checked out their website, and it does say services are intended for kids older than 2, but you have to read the disclaimer to see it. Here's their website:

I looked up their website beofre i took her but didn't see anything. But of course i'm freaking out and worried to death about my baby. She is back to herself. Making all her funny sounds. When i picked her up today, as i walked in the door i hear her "da". I said no i'm not your "da" i'm your "mommy"
an end to sickness would be nice
My little guy has also been running a 101-102 temp for the last 2 days, not sleeping well, irritable beyond the typical 2 year old grouchies and not eating anything....I took him to the doc today and he has strep throat! Hopefully the rest of us will not get it...
Summer...please come quick!
