Has anyone had their child's birthday party at a local McDonald's? I'm thinking about having one there for my soon-to-be 4yo son. I've read mixed reviews online for experiences but have not been able to find one for a party at a McDonald's in Michiana. The price is very reasonable, and my son likes their food - so it seems like a good idea.

Good timing. I just got a card from the lady that actually presents the party. It's the Granger McDonalds and her name is Laura, she is so funny and sweet. The numbers are store 574-271-1800 and cell 574-707-0150. I don't know about cleanliness, I'm a weirdo-germaphob so we never use play equipment. Lynn

Thanks!

Wow! Thanks for the quick response. From what I've read online, the trick to a successful McDonald's birthday party is to get a good hostess, so your reply is very helpful!

Party

My sister in law had my neices birthday party at the mcdonalds in Nappannee and it was very nice and CLEAN. I too dont like my kids playing at a nasty play place but this one was VERY CLEAN. Its a newer mcdonalds. She said it only cost her about $50 (I think). Dont go to the mcdonalds on 6 and 31 in Lapaz. My husband took our son there on his day off and he said it was nasty and dirty and the workers were smoking in the building and they a couple buckets that were caughting the water that leaked through the ceiling. My husband is not this germ freak and yet he left and went to BK to eat.

I still remember . . .

I can't speak for the cleanliness thing, but I STILL remember a suprise party that my parents had for me at McDonalds. I was only 6 and there wasn't even a play area there, but I still thought it was sooooo cool to have a party there. Lots of friends came and we all had a great time! :)
