March for Babies
Hello everyone! After Bekka was born I formed a Family Team for the March of Dimes WalkAmerica. This year it has been renamed March for Babies. We will again have a team this year and I'm looking for walkers and/or sponsors that would like to be a part of our team.

I am a team captain for the March for Babies too. I am also involved in planning some of the activities that will happen directly after the St. Joe County March for Babies event, and it will be a lot of fun. So if you can participate there will be some fun activities for children both on the March and afterward.
Would some moms like the opportunity to form a Michiana Moms team? It is an easy way to do something with your kids to teach them about volunteering and giving back. The date of the event is Saturday April 26, and it begins and ends at Coveleski Stadium. There is no entry fees, you just collect donations and turn them in at the event. The actual March is about 4 miles and it goes very fast, there are lots of rest stops along the way... lots of strollers and wagons too.
I would be happy to coordinate a team if some moms want to do it!

Absolutely! I was thinking about this a couple of months ago, that it would be a cool way for us all to get together and meet, and for a good cause. Tell me what we need to do Julie. More info coming soon on this :)

Other volunteers needed for the event
Also if you are interested in simply volunteering your time, I am looking for 5 volunteers to show up at the Coveleski Stadium on the walk date for a couple hours and help to count money in the envelopes. Just let me know if you are interested.
