Making the bed
I mentioned in my last post that I was making the bed this morning, which almost seemed funny as I was typing it because we don't make our bed all the time. I've said it before, our bedroom/bathroom are the most neglected rooms in our house...no one sees them but us, so they get the least attention! I've been trying to get better about making it daily...it doens't take but 2 minutes, so it shouldn't be that hard, right?
Luke has a gate on his bed so he doesn't fall out, so it's hard to "make" his bed, but I do pull the blankets up on his bed almost daily. I think it may be time for him to start doing it himself, what do you think?
Do you make your bed every day? What about your kids, do you/they make their beds?

LOL no I only make a bed when I am a guest at someones house I have never made my bed in my entire life.

If I am in a cleaning mood I will make the beds or if people are coming over I will but not everyday.

I make my bed everyday I hate having to go to bed to an unmade bed it just sucks I can't get comfy without it as for my sons bed he doesn't sleep on it he sleeps with us which I need to break him of but it's so hard

Now that I'm a SAHM I ty to make the bed so it looks like I've been doing something! lol I am busy from sunup to sundown but I still feel like it looks better if I can make it, plus you can see right into our bedroom from the kitchen. Now my vanity (huge antique with a big mirror) that's a diff story lol you can't see that and it's always cluttered.
Bekka's bed just has a fitted sheet and a comforter so I always staighten the comforter up.

I make the beds everyday. I like getting into a made bed at night and I figure the kids do too. I am home with the kids all day and I don't like looking at unmade beds, the room looks cleaner with the bed made.
Once a week
We change the sheets once a week so we go ahead and make the bed then right before we go to bed, which I should do every DAY in retrospect because I just LOVE a freshly clean, neatly made bed. NAaaaah! But the kids making their beds? Never. THEIR sheets are changed every two weeks and that's when they get made... which is basically just pulling the comforter over, but it's ME and not THEM making the bed. I oughta change that bad habit too. HAHA :)
