I'm torn...I like Logan's peanuts and salad dressing better.  But I love the big onion appetizer and honey butter and croutons at Texas Roadhouse.  I should have ordered the same thing at Texas Roadhouse that I normally get at Logan's so I could compare the food better.  I have a feeling next time we have a choice, it will be Logan's.  Don't get me wrong, TR was good and we enjoyed it.  Although I think our server was too busy "busting a move" with the other waitresses and forgot about us a couple of different times! Luke liked the dancing, so I guess as long as the kids were good, that's a plus!

Which do you prefer, Logan's or Texas Roadhouse??

Logan's for sure!

I definatly have to go with Logan's on this one. We went to the new Texas Roadhouse in South Bend and I will NOT go back. We had the worst service in the world! The hostesses were extremely rude and more into talking than doing their jobs. Our waitress was super slow and not really nice. The food was horrible, well okay besides the good rolls. I do like TR for their butter for the rolls better than Logans. But I like Logans for better service. If you want a good steak dinner, I hear that Eddies or Maxi's has the best steak for two. ??

That is a tough one! I

That is a tough one! I really like the food at both places, but I prefer the butter and rolls at TR than Logan's. The TR in Elkhart has great service too, but you usually have to wait for a table and I have never had to wait at Logans. Tough call!

Eddie's

I love Eddie's Steak Shack. Their steak is soooo good. They have these baby red potatoes that are sinful. That is my choice for a good steak.

Texas Roadhouse

I prefer texas roadhouse but we wont be going to the one on Ireland road again after valentine's day. Really bad experience. I know they were busy but we had asked for a carseat carrier because the baby is 4months old and wont sit in the high chair for obvious reasons. Well we got sat down didnt get the carrier, but the couple that came in behind us got one.

I prefer the steak at texas roadhouse. I have my meal set in stone for TR. I always get the same thing every time. HOWEVER!!, I do not enjoy watching them line dance. If i wanted to watch someone line dance i'd go to a country bar. No single TR in Indy does that and when I had to take my 2yr old to riley for some tests we stopped at TR and i even told my waiter "thank you" he said no problem but for what. i told him for not "line dancing". he said TR employees dont do that, my reply in SB, IN they do. He almost hurt his ribs laughing so hard.

dancing

The first time we went right after they opened, we didn't get the best service either.  It wasn't terrible, but our waiter was taking forever for everything, but he was always in line dancing too.  It does look bad when a table is waiting on their food, or for a high chair and you server is dancing!

Logan's - Hands Down!

We went to Texas Roadhouse a few weeks after they opened and the service was awful. My husband's order was wrong and the replacement wasn't brought until everyone else at the table was done eating, they charged us for someone else's bill, kept forgetting to bring milk for the little one, etc. The food was good, but the service was so awful I'm not sure if we'd ever go back.

Heston's

Well I think that if you want a great steak you have to go to Heston's. They are the best by far, no one compares.
