Does anyone know any good kid friendly halloween recipe? My sons preschool is having a halloween party and I wanted to make something with him to take to the party. Something that is fun and the kids would think is neat and that a 5 year can help make. I dont want to bring just decorated cupcakes or cakes.

I Do

If you go to www.Pilsbury.com and type halloween in under recipe it will pull up 30 or so recipies that are pretty cool not just cupcakes and cakes it's pretty cool. My son picked witches brew and witch finger sandwiches and halloween marsh monsters.

trail mix

You could make a trail mix with just about anything and throw in some extras for the season. For my daughter's preschool halloween party last year, we made a trail mix with bugles(fingernails), cheerios, mini marshmellows, orange goldfish, and the black/orange M&M's. You can then either bag it up in something festive or just use the the little snack bags. It's great for the kids to either make on their own or with little assistance.

We dip pretzel rods in white chocolate and sprinkle with halloween sugar confetti. the kids make them too. wrap individually in a baggie tie with orange string and you've got a winner! Lynn

Yes!

We made those for X-mas last year...my kids had a blast and they are oh, so yummy :)

We tried something similar that I saw in Family Fun and could be used for any season.
Put a big marshmellow on the end of a wooden craft stick, dip it in white chocolate, then in holiday sprinkles...THe kids and I made these for a preschool X-mas party and they were a hit!
