Im just wondering if any of you know any good stay at home jobs that are not cons and that you dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to start and if there are any local companys that have you work from home

LET ME KNOW
If you find any let me know. Every one that I looked into was scams. I work full time but if I could find a way to make just alittle bit of money at home I would stay at home in a heart beat.
I promise it's not a scam . . .
I work for a legitimate company and I work from home. It does NOT cost hundreds to start up (each month there's a special starter kit that ranges from $35-$100). Since it's a children's book company and we do book fairs, reading programs, and home shows obviously SOME of the work is away from home, but MUCH of it (customer care, computer work, phone calls, ordering) can be done from home. Check out my website if you are interested and I promise it's not a scam. ;) www.MonicasBooks.com

Hello, my name is Amy Jo and I’d like to tell you briefly about the programs I do to make money (I have been paid by all of these companies!). None of which will get you rich quick! Although, if your willing to spend a little time each day you can make some extra cash. And, the best part is they are all FREE to join!!
With all of these programs the key to success is getting referrals that are as serious about making money as you are. I don’t know about you but staying home with my son is the most important thing in the world to me. As moms/parents if we support each other we can stay home, help with the financial burden that most of us are facing and be secure in knowing our little ones are getting the best possible care.
Check out each of these sites and pick the one or two or three you like best ;o). If you have any questions please send me a message. I have a baby so please allow me a couple days to get back with you.
Thank you and God Bless!
BigCrumbs - http://www.bigcrumbs.com/crumbs/frontpage.jsp?r=ZackarysMom with this program you earn cash back when you shop. When you refer others you earn when they shop. I use this program to purchase diapers, clothes and anything else my son needs. I also use it to compare shop for things my husband and I need. It’s great, there are over 200 retailers to choose from such as eBay, Target, Wal-Mart, Diapers.com and so many more. It’s easy to find the best price. And best off all you save on gas!!!!
When you use BigCrumbs to make all of your other purchases, besides gas, you save real cash. In fact, if you're serious about using your BigCrumbs benefits you can offset some of these crazy increases in gas prices and put more money back in your pocket where it belongs. If you're cutting back on your spending in general, remember that many or all of your necessities can also be purchased with big savings through BigCrumbs retailers (ex: soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.).
CashCrate - http://cashcrate.com/456878 this site is great also. It REALLY does work! You complete offers and they pay monthly. This site by far pays the best on referrals! Check it out you’ll be amazed at the money you could be making!! You do NOT have to purchase anything.
InBoxDollars - http://www.inboxdollars.com/?r=ref3632049 3.5 Million members strong SendEarnings http://www.sendearnings.com/?r=ref1426142 1.5 Million members strong & (These two are by the same company.) These two sites are so easy to use and very user friendly! They have several ways to make money. After you make your first $30.00 you are considered a Gold Member which means you can request to be paid every week instead of monthly and you make more when you refer others. I like these sites a lot. Check them out!
FMSFreebies - http://DIY.fmsfreebies.com/?referral=2797 on this site you complete offers and they tell you exactly how far to go with each offer. After you make your first $5.00 and verify the account you want to be paid in (they have SEVERAL options: PayPal, Money Order, AlertPay, RevolutionMoneyExchange, MoneyBrokers.com and you can also DONATE if you choose to…that’s awesome!!!) you can be paid DAILY if you make at least $5.00 a day. This site is very user friendly and they have great customer service if you need it!! You earn 20% from your first generation only.

work from home
Your best bet may be to look for a local company that can hire you on a project basis, meaning they would come to you when they have special projects that need done. I'm sure it's not an easy task to locate a business like this, but it can't hurt to start spreading the word to people you know that you are interested in taking on work from home.
I got very lucky and was offered a part-time job from home. He is a family friend that owns a local business in South Bend. Most work for his business can be done over the internet, so hiring someone to sit in his office wasn't necessary. I knew him personally, so it was an easy decision for both of us, for him to hire me and for me to accept the job. But it is a perfectly legit opportunity, for now I do projects to help him get some things caught up, and in a few months I will have an actual position and still be able to work from home. Jobs like this may be rare, but I'm sure there are some out there, you just need to start marketing yourself and your abilities and see where it leads. You could do projects, computer work, data entry, run errands, etc.

I work from home...
I am an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and I have really enjoyed it so far! It does cost $100 to buy the starter kit, but it is well worth the money. There is no requirement to keep inventory, it is completely up to you. The one thing I like about keeping inventory is it makes it easier on me. When I hold an appointment, if there is something that someone wants to purchase and I have it on hand I can give it to her right then and there. If not I just order it and deliver it to her once it comes in.
I really love the women I work with. Almost all of us have kids and can really relate to each other. There are so many opportunities to move up in the company. I have never felt so accepted by a company before. If you are (or anyone for that matter) intersted feel free to contact me and I can give you more information.
