Internet, TV and Phone Service
I'm wondering if anyone knows another internet/phone/tv provider other Comcast? We've had Comcast since we moved here and are very unhappy with their customer service and billing. We've been overcharged so many times, and so many mess ups on the bill, not to mention missed appointments and horrible customer service that we'd really like to change providers. Right now we have a bundle pack that covers our phone, internet and television. I've tried Verizon and AT&T and they aren't in South Bend. Does anyone else use another provider other then Comcast they can recommend? Thanks!

AT&T
We've used the same service for 14 yrs, sometimes trying 'new' plans but the old and true seem to meet our needs most. The service is always fast and complete, not the cheapest but the best so far. Lynn

I did contact AT&T and they have tv and phone in my area but not internet access. Since I also work as an independent contractor for a IT company remotely I need the internet to work. This is so frustrating because I'm really only finding Comcast in my area.

A.T.T VS COMCAST
We have Comcast... only have had it for a month. We had another cable company in Ohio. We do save a lot of money especially with long distance to clients and family/friends in Ohio. My neighbor had A.T.T until today. But she went without phone and internet for over 4 days and they couldn't help her or reimburse her in return. They told her it would be 5 days before anyone could come out and look as to why she didn't have service. She runs a business out of her home and couldn't afford to be without that long. A.T.T does offer internet. My father just got it two weeks ago and he lives in Osceola. They send you "filters" to put on your phones so you may get high speed internet. BUT, since he did it, there is so much static in his phone lines it is sometimes hard to hear him on the phone. Then again sometimes it works great. So far we haven't had any issues with Comcast. They were here on the day they were suppose to be. Took the guy forever to do it, BUT he had to drill through walls, so I will give him a break on it.

As far as cable I go through
As far as cable I go through the Dish, I really like it and their customer service. We had the "everything package" including all the HD channels and its still cheaper than what I've heard normal basic cable is through Comcast. I've heard horrible things about Comcast's customer service also. Both my parents and best friend have Comcast and they've had appointments where the guys never show up or if they do its hours after their "scheduled time". My friend actually just found out she's been paying for HD channels for over 2 years and the guy came last week to tell them they didnt have it the whole time.
I know it seems easier to have everything in one package but maybe your best bet would to shop around and see about doing your cable with one provider and maybe doing your phone and internet with another service...

AT&T (SBC) and Dishnetwork
We live in Niles. We have AT&T for phone and high speed internet. WE haven't had any probs with them. As far as the static goes you need to make sure that the filters are on everything. Phones, answering machines, dish recievers etc otherwise you will get static off/on. We have Dishnetwork and love it. We had Comcast and was paying more than what we are for Dish and we get alot more channels.

NO ATT&T
We switched from Comcast to ATT&T to save a buck and we both wish we had not of done it! The T.V. (Dish network) goes out all the time and we have only had it for a year and we have had to have techs come out 3 times......one of them being today. Shop around, AT&T has terrible customer service, I know because I have had to call SEVERAL times. Installation was a complete nightmare too!
