We just took my 5 year to the indoor waterpark in Shipshewana this past Saturday for his birthday. IT was awesome. I just want to recommended it to everyone. It was really reasonable. Online you can print out coupons. We went at 3:00 and with the coupon we paid $15 a person to get in. We played in the water for about 3 1/2 hours before we all got hungry. I did see if you wanted to spend hte night they are running a special for hotel room $150 but that included 4 all day passes for both days you are there. I took our baby (9months old) and she sat in the baby area with all the baby splash and even she had a great time. They have a TON of lifeguard on duty at all times. I thought it would be so busy on a Saturday but it really wasnt that bad. Everything was clean and food was ok. The website is www.splashuniverse.com

They are Great!

We have been to two indoor water parks in Ohio when we lived there. And both times it was GREAT! We usually try to go in January when it's very cold and we are all getting cabin fever. Our boys are 12 and 10 so we can let them roam and play with other kids freely due to all the lifeguards. Plus our children are older. Throughout the day though we meet up, splash around. So we get as adults one on one time then usually my husband and I will do one on one time with each child then do something fun there as a whole family. Trying to cover it all. And it helps with cabin fever for sure! We went on line and got coupons that help out a lot.

Great Wolf Lodge

We are going to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky with some friends.  She says this place is really neat and lots of fun.  We got our rooms and water park passes for $129.  I thought about the one in Shipshewana, but they didn't have good deals when we were looking.  I'm glad to know it's nice being it is so close.  Like someone mentioned, great idea for mid January when we are all dying to do something fun for a day :)  Thanks!
