I'm new here!
I actually registered a long time ago but never came back to start posting. I just moved to the South Bend area in October. I'm a nurse and got a job right away so I've been busy, but I am in desperate need of friends. I'm relying far too much on my poor 13 year old neighbor to be my friend. How sad is that.
I have two boys, 4 and almost 15 months. I'm an RN at EGH and I work nights. My husband is the executive chef at the Marriott downtown. Hmm, what else to tell. I'd love to get to know everyone. It doesn't seem all that busy here, but I'm hoping to meet people anyway! Small is better and this is an awesome site!

Wecome, or should we say Welcome Back :) I think most of us are over 13 years, so maybe you can find some adult friends here! I'm glad you like the site...it probably looks different from when you registered, eh? We've added a ton of new features, so check it out and share it with other moms you know. We are just now "officially" starting to advertise the site, so we are working hard to build membership. Stick around, because we are really excited about some new things we have in the works! I moved here from the
I moved here from the Washington DC area. We lived there for 9 years but we are originally from the eastern side of MI so coming here was getting us closer to home. It's warmer there, but not much. The cold is shorter, but the hot is hotter and longer and miserable! I'll take winter anyday over the DC heat. The traffic was a downer too.
I plan to stick around now that I'm here! Hopefully someone will plan a get together one of these days that I can make it to. My biggest problem is working nights so I'm usually only available during the evening or weekends. Most people do family stuff then.

I've been thinking about a get together. I actually had a spa party at my house last Friday, and I plan on doing another one in 2 or 3 months, so we can all meet. I've also been thinking of a playdate. I know some of have kids in the 3 - 4 age range, as well as babies.

I don't know if I am too late in those response but I just move in the area couple months ago from Mexico because we have a 19month old and family comes first for us. He just loves it so much... not only the family but the weather also, unbelivable! I dont know Angie if you are working during the day but we have a mops group every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month in North Liberty and a lots of moms are from SouthBeand area.
