How many of you go to bed with your spouse at the same time? Frequently, my husband either falls asleep on the couch, or is working on something late into the night. Its easier turing water into wine than getting my hubby to come to bed if he falls asleep on the couch.

So, are you and your spouse on the same bedtime 'clock.' I'd much rather go to bed with my husband. I'd probably change my tune if he snored!

Nope

I sleep in the bedroom he sleeps on the couch.

Depends

on the night. A lot of the time one of us winds up in bed first. The other usually follows shortly there after. We both like to watch TV in bed, so that's why we usually end up together.

Yes

He wakes up really early so he goes first to bed and read for a bit so this give me time to go do “my bedtime routine” and when I am finish I go to bed and read… for around 30 minutes and than we close the light and pray. It's sure nice to have your husband sleeping with you at the same time.

For some reason, with my husbands schedule he is tired! Wakes up at 330-400 am for chores and then to work he goes. So come the end of the day he is tired and will normally fall asleep in the recliner in the living room. I normally head to bed sooner than he does. If he comes to bed to sleep at nine he is up by midnight and can't sleep. If he falls asleep in the recliner and heads to be after the news he is ok. I enjoy doing some hand sewing/crocheting/reading before I turn out the lights and can do this in bed. If I stay up in the lr too watch tv he falls asleep anyways so I prefer just to head to bed by myself.
It was nice many years ago to head to bed together, but we now have three kids, a farm and busy work schedules. We catch up with each other at different times. We also have a six year old that likes to fall asleep in our bed, so my hubby gets tired of moving him to his own bed when he comes up late. There will be a time when the six year old dosesn't want to visit with us!

Eventually.

I'm the early riser, he's the night owl so it is very rare acutally that we go to bed together, we always end up there though. Now, it can often change too, he sometimes doesn't sleep well and get's up in the middle of the night and ends up on the couch. Lately I'm the one on the couch, broke my collar bone 2weeks ago and can't lay in bed. God I can't wait to go back to my bed.

Zzzz...

I'm always up late working, but we do like to go to bed together, so he usually falls asleep on the couch.  I will wake him when I'm ready to go to bed, but sometimes I end up going to bed by myself because I can't get him off the couch!

Tonight, he said "Let's not work much tonight, and we'll just hang out and watch some tv."  Ok, sounds like a plan.  He just put the baby to bed as I finished pumping, and I headed to the couch at 9:27 and he's already dozing off!!!  So much for that! :)

Sometimes...

My husband has to get up earlier than me so he goes to bed around 8:00 p.m. I'm typically up until 11:00, straightening up, cleaning, laundry, and having some me time. When he has the next day off we go to bed together. I try to stay up and wait for him when he works overtime but if I have to work the next morning, I'll go to bed. That doesn't work out so well because he is soooo noisy when he comes to bed. Sits on the bed to get undressed (which feels like he's bouncing), turns on his light and reads, plays with the ring tones on his cell phone, and has even eaten snacks while I'm trying to sleep! I have had several one sided conversations with him about bedroom manners but it hasn't sunk in yet.

I hear ya

If my husband is in bed before me, I always tip toe in, quiet as a mouse.  I slowly get in bed so he won't even notice I came to bed.  Those nights when I can't get him off the couch, he comes to bed later like a tornado!  Same here, flops down on the bed, crashes stuff around, shuts the door hard.  Men.... :)

My husband has 2 jobs and he gets up at 3 am. He usually falls asleep on the couch after supper and goes up to bed at 8pm. I meanwhile put the kids to bed, give them their medicine, wash dishes, do some work on the computer for my home business, and straighten up the house. I don't ususally go to sleep until 2:30 am. (one, after the kids are in bed it's me time. two, I have a condition that goes thru cycles. The first cycle is that I will go to bed and fall asleep right away. The second cycle is where I am tired but can't fall asleep so sometimes I will get by on 2hrs of sleep).

Work Schedules

My husband works the day shift and I work the evening shift at the hospital. I don't get home until midnight. He is already in bed and so are the kids. But on the evenings I am off we try to go to bed together. He knows I am a TV watcher and the light bothers him but he bought a mask (HAHA) so that I would come to bed with him. It is usually only twice a week, sometimes more if I scheduled the weeken he takes a nap and wakes up when I get home so that we can talk and spend some time together. I guess I got a real sweetie who tries.
