Gifts for Valentine's?
Valentine's is a month away. Do you and hubby do gifts on Valentine's Day? In the past, we've just done small things, but it seems like it is always more work than it's worth. We have to find time to go out and shop by ourselves, it always ends up being a last minute thought anyway, so we just try to make it a special day without big gift giving. We always do a nice card for each other, and maybe our favorite candy or something little. We would rather take our money and go out for a nice dinner together anyway. What about you, what are your thoughts on Valentine's gift giving?
We started out that way...
We started with gifts the first year, but then our anniversary is on the 26th sooo we decided last year to combine the two and treat ourselves to a long weekend getaway somewhere instead of gifts for either occasion. That way we both get to enjoy each other without all the kids jumping around & kill two birds with one stone :).

Once the kids are a bit older, this would be a great idea. No gifts, just a few days away from everything!! Maybe we could meet you in Vegas!

I have never received a gift for Valentines day from my hubby so I don't get him anything.

We always give each other a card. We don't do much in the way of gifts for Valentines Day, but I'm always guaranteed to get a box of Milk Duds!! They are my favorite and I don't eat alot of candy, so it's a special treat:)

We normally just go out to dinner, get each other a nice cards, He always gets me really nice flowers, and there is normally something small he wants and I get him that.
