Did anyone else see that showplace 16 is offering free movies on wed and thurs mornings through July! Could be a fun thing for the kiddos especially if you are going to be in southbend anyways,,,,

Thanks for the info! It sure can get expensive taking the kids to the movies, everything adds up so quickly! We like to go to the Wonderland Cinema in Niles. If you haven't been there, movie tickets are either 1.50 or 2.50 I cant remember but its no more than that (this includes adults). You can get popcorn for less than 2.00, a drink less than 2.00, candy (big boxes) for 1.00, they have dippin dots, ice cream, hot dogs, etc. The kids love it because you get your own popcorn out of this huge machine! The theater isnt the nicest, its an old warehouse but totally worth the money :)
We went to the movie this past week and they run a special for concessions, $4.00 for a kids size drink and popcorn with free refills. They even offered one for me for that price. It was a nice break to get out of the house and my kids were actually behaved!
