I've recommended him many times here, and I will again. Dr. David Kramer at the South Bend Clinic (Ironwood and Inwood on the south side of South Bend). 299-2400. He is a ped, as well as a doctor of internal medicine.
He's great with the kids, I trust that if he says something isn't a big deal, it isn't. And I know of a couple of occassions with close friends that he suggested further testing, and it turned out to be something major....so I would definitely recommend him if you want a second opinion for your concerns.

I love, love, love our ped. He is at michiana pediatrics by St Joe hospital. I was new to the area and someone recommended Michiana pediatrics to me. So by luck I got him and I am so happy that I did. He tells us everything he is doing, why he is doing it, etc. I believe he is taking new patients too! The good thing about the office he is in is that if you need to be seen asap they have other physicians that are on call each day for walk ins. SO again his name is Daniel Brier and the phone number is234-9555. Good luck with your search.
Dr. Brier is the BEST!

We love Dr. Brier and have been seeing him for 10 years! Everything the person above me said is true 100%! He is great with boys also. My sister has four boys and I have two. All go see Dr. Brier. We have had broken bones, hospitalizations, and chronic illnesses. Dr. Brier and his associates have always been there no matter what time or emergency. And when you have to take your son in because he stuck a rock up his nose, he will laugh at you and tell you that is just what little boys do, Mom. He even gets my extremely shy child to laugh and talk to him. Great Guy, the BEST Doctor.

I love Dr. Wykoff at the South Bend Clinic on Edy street. We have been seeing her now for 5 years and she is the best. We went through some things with my son (he had two seizures) and she was great at explaining stuff and doing whatever test needed to be done and a couple more just to put my mind at ease. There is about 5 ped doctors there and over the past 5 years I have seen them all. There isnt one that I didnt like. They have after hours where one of the ped doctors stay late until 7 I believe incase you need to be seen after hours and you want to see a peds doctors but just a family doctors. They do have family doctors there all day Saturdays and Sunday so you dont have go to the ER or medpoint. I like all the nurses and even the billing department is easy to work with. My son has had 4 surgerys so I owed them alot of money and the business department was understanding and more then willing to work with me. I am pretty sure if you called they would say that Dr. Wykoff isnt taking new patients (she doesnt want a ton of patient that she cant keep track of) but if you are interest I will give you my name that I reffered you and already talked to Dr. Wykoff. I have talked to her before and that is what she told me to do when I know someone that is need of a good doctor. Let me know if you want the information.

I have been taking my 4 year old daughter to Kramer since she was born and now I have been taking my 9 month old since she was born He was a pretty good doctor but lately not so much he has just been somewhere else he doesn't even make eye contact with the patients and I know a few other people that said the same thing he just looks in the mirror while he talks and he hasn't cared about any concerns I have had or the other people I talked to he he just jabbers and gets out. I am thinking about switching.

I have been a nurse for 11 years. I have a 7 yr. old and a almost 4 yr. old. My kids have always gone to Navarre Pediatrics.
When my husband and I moved here 9 yrs. ago, I didn't know who to go see and I chose them and have been very happy. They have evening hours and weekend hours for sick kids is also why I chose them at the beginning. My kids see Dr. Sweeney. But the other Dr.'s we have had to see there have all been very good also. My kids have had there share of sicknes also-chronic ear infections of which both of my kids have tubes, my daughter has had her tonsils and adenoids removed and been in the hospital for dehydration stool infection... all of which you start out in the Dr. office first.
i have always been very pleased.

I have also been using Navarre Pediatrics as does my sister in law. We've been happy with both of the doctors at the Granger location. It's absolutely wonderful to have the weekend hours available. However, we did have a Dr. Simpson at the South Bend office which I really didn't care for. I didn't like the way she spoke to my 3 year old daughter, not like I'd expect from a pediatrician.
