I have been a stay at home mom since my son was born 3 years ago.  We recently had our 2nd child, and I'm considering working part time starting this fall while my oldest is at preschool (about 6 hours a week).  I have a couple of options for a sitter, but I'm wondering what I should expect to pay?  Thanks!

I LIVE IN MARSHALL COUNTY

I LIVE IN MARSHALL COUNTY AND I USE TO PAY $85 A WEEK FOR MY SON BUT IT WAS AN AT HOME DAYCARE AND SHE ONLY TAKES FULL TIME NO PART TIME RATE. I JUST CHANGED MY SONS DAYCARE TO CHURCH HERE IN PLYMOUTH AND ITS $90 FULL TIME, $25 A DAY, OR $4 AN HOUR.

Daycare cost

It is really hard to find anyone that will take an infant less than full time and not charge for full time rates. Home daycares might be more flexible but even some of them charge for full weeks. My daily cost is $30 day for my 4 year old at a home daycare, but that is the same for infants. I have called and talked to several different home daycare providers, and the lowest is $20 and most of those are questionable quality in my opinion.
