Children and poisoning

I learned today that 4,000,000 children a year are poisoned. This figure comes from those that are reported. Who knows how many go unreported.

Poisoning doesn't just mean swallowing; it can also mean that toxic chemicals from cleaning products and food dyes are leached into the bodies. Because children have such thin skin, they are really suceptable to these toxins.

Did you know that the red #40 food dye can cause allergies? There is red food dye in dry cat food in addition to over the counter cough medicine.

Even on a shampoo bottle if you see the words "ammonium sulfate" this is a bad chemical. I is ammonia. Sodium laurel sulfate is fine but not the sodium ammonium.
