paper

We get them in the paper on thanksgiving day and make out our plan on what we need to get from what store and what time they open. LIke Walmart they wont let you take anything off the middle section until the workers tell you the items are covered but Meijers you can go as early as you want and load evrything in your cart and be waiting at the check out lane for when they start ringing people out. I know there is a website but I just wait until Thanksgiving. Its like a tradition. All of girls cant wait to get dinner done and cleaned up and then we call sit down in the living room with our paper and pens and pass around the sale ads.

Efficient Shopping....

Last year was my first Black Friday. It was the only year I didn't work at a Bank or in Retail, so I didn't have to work that day. My best deals were at Walmart and Target. Last year we made the mistake of trying to go to many places. It's to taxing to go to alot of places so early. This year, I'm starting at my Niles Walmart, (way less busy than any of the others), and then heading to Target & Lowes. I've been trying to see the deals online, but the best bet is to plan it out Thanksgiving night with the paper. I heard that last year Kohl's was a madhouse. So I'm trying to stay clear of that plaza this year. Also, we got up at 4, and made it to our Walmart at 4:20 and waited until 5 when they unwrap the skids full of doorbusters. Also, at my walmart they gave us a store map with the locations of the doorbusters. I'm not a big fan of Walmart, but me and my mom had a pleasant experience at ours last year.

stores

We were very pleased with the service at walmart two years ago. The customers were really rude. We didnt go there first thing in the morning last year, we went later in the day. Menards was crazy last year. The line was so long and it was soo cold out. People were waiting in their cars and once they opened the doors they call tryed to jump in the front of the line. They had to call the cops....it was nuts...Just watch out for crazy people.

They have almost all the ads posted. So far I have not been all that impressed with the deals this year.
