Has anyone checked out the after Thanksgiving ads online yet? What stores will you be shopping early at? What time do you plan on being at the stores? Is there a great deal you are hoping to get? Something special you are looking for?

I have looked at some of the ads online but I like to see the picture of the stuff so I will have a better idea of where I am going tomorrow. I saw on a tv ad that kohls opens at 4. We will probably go there first since most places don’t open until 5. We normally have to go walmart, meijers, target, and Menards (all at 5 haha).

I will be at Meijer doing a lot of shopping tomorrow morning (Thursday) and maybe a little on Friday. I have been watching the ads online but was looking forward to Thanksgiving Day ads in today's paper, but our work paper was missing them. Does anyone know if there were ads in the Wednesday paper?

Thursday ads
The Thanksgiving ads should be in todays paper because by the time I get the paper tomorrow the sale will have already started. It's possible they chose not to put it in the paper since it is online though. I still like to look at the paper version though because it is easier to quickly look and make sure I didn't miss something.
I'll probably wait
I sort of get anxiety attacks in large crowds of people so unless it's a REALLY great deal I'll probable wait. Last year I actually went out for the first time in ages. I went to Best Buy looking to get a couple of things but especially a pack of DVD+R's they had marked down from $80 to $5. They didn't have anything that I was looking for until I went to leave I saw that someone had abandoned a cart(I stood and waited for several minutes to see if they would come back) and they had one pack of the DVD+R's. I got them and wound up standing in line for an hour and a half! That was soooo hard for me to do, but hubby really wanted them. The price I pay for love, huh???

So, I just looked over the Radio Shack ad and since Radio Shack is sort of out of the way of all of the "hustle and bustle" I might wind up going early morning. There are a few things in their ad that we could really use. So, we'll see, I guess.

Do they usually have good Thanksgiving Day sales? Just mornings, or all day?? THAT I could do...if I don't eat too much turkey and fall asleep!

Yes!
They have several things for buy one get one free, moon sand, my little ponies, Crest spinbrushes, AKC plush dog toys. All of their ads are posted on the Meijer site, there is one for Thursday, Friday, Thursday AND Friday, and All week! I have several things from the Thursday and Friday ad too that I will try to get tomorrow morning before they run out. Last year I went at 6 AM when the Thanksgiving sale started and pulled in the lot to find it packed and I had to park almost out to the end of the lot. At that point it was too late to get a lot of the stuff I wanted. I will be there by 5:30 at the latest so I can load my cart and checkout by 6:15 or so.
Target
I just got back from Target on the south side and while waiting on a prescription from the pharmacy, we walked all over the store. They have tons of stuff out...looks like they are getting ready for Friday. They had TVs, microwaves, wine fridges...all kinds of boxes stacked up along the center isle next to the kids clothes. I always say I'm not going out early, then I get "in the spirit" and say maybe I will, but change my mind when it hits 4 am :)
Also, we went through McDonald's drive thru (also on the south side - Miami), and they have a sign posted that the drive thru and lobby will open at 3 am on Friday to "accomodate your shopping extravaganza!" So you know where you can grab a coffee and breakfast if you get hungry while shopping!
