Being a mom and working
I am a stay home mom by most accounts. About a year ago I got started in a direct sales company. I love it. I love selling jewelry for Premier Designs and I love what the company represents and brings to my life. I have made so many friends and I make money, but the problem is, my husband works all day, my kids play all day and then I want to spend time with my husband before he goes to bed, so I find myself up at 1:30 in the morning trying to get everything ready for a show the next day.
Does anyone have these issues? I know that it's my choice to do it late, but I started this job so that I didn't take away from my kids, that I controlled my schedule and pretty much the money I would make, but it sure is tiring and I am definetly not as young as I used to be.

amydar2, I am also a busy
amydar2, I am also a busy stay at home mom, and an Independent Demonstrator for a candle company. Sounds like we are in the same boat...I am also usually preparing for a party very late the night before. Overall, I seem to work better under pressure, but I've also found that I tend to make better use of my time when I have less of it. If I start preparing several days before my parties, I tend to over do it and spend my time doing stuff that isn't necessary. Seems like preparing last minute ensures I do only what's necessary to make the party a success, and nothing more. Time is money, and I've found that keeping it simple really does make all the difference in how successful my parties are. And as much as it makes me feel like a procrastinator, I agree that I do this so I can spend more time with my family, so doing it late at night when the kids are in bed only makes sense!
I'm a full time working mom
I work full time out side of the home 40-50 hours a week I miss out a lot and am too tired most of the time to keep things up at home I am 36 weeks pregnant also.
How do you do it? I couldnt
How do you do it? I couldnt imagine being pregnant and working that many hours. I went to 32 hours when i was 7 1/2 months pregnant and that was still too much. I tip my hat to you.
I work full time...I worked 56 hours this week. Yuck! I usually try to stay around that 40 mark but some other situations prevented that. I enjoy my job, but if I could be a SAHM I would!!! My daughter attends a home daycare where I know the lady personally, she provided daycare for me when I was a child. She is also a close family friend so when I drop Nessa off, I dont worry about the care that she gets during the day.
