bareMinerals are "da bomb"
I went to a new mall that just opened over here with my mother in law today and the baby and we stopped at Sephora. She talked me into a "consultation", which I tried to avoid because frankly, I only wear make-up when I am meeting with clients and even then, I don't really do all that much to my face. Anyway, she talked me into it and I tried that bareMinerals powedery foundation set on. Holly Cow! It was SUPER AWESOME! Da Bomb! I loved it!! I got this whole set in a box and it even came with a DVD movie (much needed) on how to apply it. I can't wait to wear it soon and then go back for some eye stuff. I thought I would share. You can check it out right at the Sephora.com site, but I highly encourage anyone who has not tried it to just go in to a local Sephora store and have them apply it! Very cool, very natural, very skin healthy! :)

Makeup
Yeah I have seen that stuff on infomercials and wondered if it really worked like that. That's the soo called stuff models use right?
Where did you get it? I would like to try it out looks simple and weightless and looks like it has great blemish coverage.
bareMinerals
My mom recently tried it and also really likes it! I watched her apply it while we were visiting her and it really does have great coverage. She said it was a bit tricky to learn how to apply it, thus the instructional dvd that comes with it. I was thinking of trying it also.
Hey Aymee, you said you use BeautiControl's makeup, how do you like it? I was thinking of ordering some at my Spa on Friday. I have used Clinique for years, and have never found anything I like near as well, but I think I am ready to at least "try" something else.

I bought bareMinerals at Sephora
I got the bareMinerals make up at Sephora but they also carry it at Ulta.
I really like Beauty Control also. I have used their powder duo which is really really good and offers good coverage. Hmmmm... I swear by their eye make up remover and what else... that;s it. I have their hand scrub stuff with the salts inside? I forget the name...Comes in a clear round jar and you mix it with a little spatula. Beauty control has really a cool foot spa powdery mix too, smells REALLY NICE!
I don't sell Beauty Control, by the way, I just think that most party plan products are very high quality and I try to use them as often as I can because I like them and I am a big supporter of home based businesses. :)
bareMinerals tricky??
Nah! Not tricky at all. I bought the kit for $60 that comes wtih the foundation powder (2 actually), the "warmth", and some vitamin thing for your face, plus all the brushes you need (which alone are more than the kit). Ok, so you just tap some powder onto the lid (VERY lite) then swirl the brush in it to pick up the loose minerals... tap the excess off and apply in circles like a buff all over your face with one of the brushes. Repeat as needed. I only do it once. Very cool. I had it applied. I should watch the video too in case I can apply this to my whole body too and look all skinny! :)
tricky
I've heard it can be tricky to apply if you are used to liquid or pressed powder, because you have to only use a tiny bit and brush it on evenly. I'm sure after you do it once or twice it's a breeze, but I'm sure I would be one to use way too much, thinking it is just powder so I would need alot to cover good. Makeup that has to include an instructional video sounds tricky to me! :)

LOVE IT!!
Jessica got me hooked on Clinique years ago. I love the stuff and won't use anything else. Well..until my best friend and sister-in-law got me to try Bare Minerals and I absolutely love it! I would recommend it to anyone. I know it costs a bit more, but I think it's worth it! I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to everything under the sun. I haven't had any problems at all:)
