Bank Accounts
Has anyone's bank account been attacked yet my cousin just told me that they took almost 400 dollars out of her account now she is in over draft I've been checking ours all day to make sure nothing is wrong in there. Hopefully it stays in the clear because that's the last thing we need

I bank through TCU and I checked this morning and was okay, knock on wood!

I work for a local bank and it seems that all the banks in the area have been hit. We've found that the accounts that have been hit are the ones who use their ATM/Debit cards for cash withdrawals. We're not sure if those are the only accounts that are being hit though. Just keep an eye out on your account and report it as soon as you see anything. The banks should do what they can to get your money back and reverse any fees you may have incurred.
1st Source ATMs
The common link is anyone that used a 1st Source ATM, after their recent breach last month they shut down all of their own customer's ATM/debit cards so their own customers were protected. However 1st Source didn't notify other banks and CUs which members/customers used a 1st Source ATM until this week... after the fraudulent activity.
